Repayment Options

Students and parents that receive Federal Family Education Loans (FFELP) have a number of repayment options. Depending on the type of loan, repayment may begin as soon as the loan is made, or may be postponed while the student is in school or for other reasons.

When it is time to begin repaying your loan, there are choices available for the repayment terms. These options are dictated by the federal regulations governing the program.

Once repayment begins, you will receive a monthly billing statement from FISC Solutions that will give you payment information as well as outstanding loan balances. You can elect to receive your billing statement electronically or by mail and make payments online, over the phone, or through the mail.
